Chinese Novels Martial Arts Heroes Brought to the Western World

Part of my task in addtion to passing the Eastern martial arts to the Western world. I also wish to pass a lot of the history and culture as well. A big part of any culture can be found from their entertainment. In fact you will find that most people in China have vast amount of martial arts knowledge even if they don't do martial arts themselves. Much of this comes from their stories and novels. Even though these are just fantasy novels, the details pertaining real martial arts is staggering. I plan to take the first chapter of many of these novels and translate them in order to draw the different authors attention to the possibility of marketing to the Western world. Crouching tiger hidden dragon was just one story of thousands that are out there. This one is called the 8 parts of the Heaven dragon. Its just a rough draft but I think you'll get the point. My father used to tell me stories about his masters and his master's masters. I remember one about his master Choi, who used to go into the mountains in Korea to train. Inside of a cave he would do a ridiculous work out, thousands of punches and kicks. He mentioned to my dad that he used to punch the wall hundreds of times a day for several years. After years had passed he said that the wall had not changed much aside from the small, smooth groove. The One Thing

Two years ago I finished learning the movements in the system of Gao Bagua and was very excited to begin my journey of developing. Learning all of the movements is only the beginning of our quest. I have spent all of my recent time refining and perfecting all of the techniques. The sword, spear, footwork, combat, conditioning have all been a daily routine for me in finding my understanding of the art fully. I have mapped out new training techniques and ideas that will revolutionize the way people train or perceive the martial arts.
